Pacheco also earned his Master's degree in Performance from the University of Aveiro, with a dissertation focusing on the guitar works of Fernando Lopes-Graça. He continues his academic journey and completed a PhD in Performance from the same university.

Besides his accomplishments as a soloist, Pacheco is a founding member of the Parnaso Guitar Quartet and is part of the Duo Soledade with violinist Gaspar Santos. He is also a guest conductor of the Portuguese Guitar and Mandolin Orchestra.

Pacheco is active in music teaching and teaches at the Music Academy of Vilar do Paraíso, Gulpilhares Cultural Forum, and Jean-Piajet Institute in Viseu.
